For all of you, who are new at this gateway, here a short introduction: This station is located in Kruft (JO30QJ), a small village near Koblenz, about 60km south of Cologne, 10 km west of the river Rhine. The GateWay is connected via a 19200 Bd wirelink to the packet radio digipeater DB0LJ. APRS users will find DB0LJ on the map or at www.findu.com on the internet. This is an Info-Board with messages around the GateWay only ! It is not connected to the Packet-Radio-Store&Forward-network. The maximum storage capacity is 2MB. The next real BBS to this GateWay is DB0LJ-8, it is connected via a 19k2 wire-link. If you visit the BBS DB0LJ-8 and you like it and intend to enter it more often, please read the advice in the file "Using BBS DB0LJ-8". This BBS offers you some special things like an email-gateway or the possibility to enter short messages to APRS or the German amateur radio paging system POCSAG. Maybe your partner is listening there and you can call him this way for a direct QSO to the band or to a convers channel.
