You would like to enter some mail to a s&f-bbs ?

This is an Info-Board with messages around the GateWay only !
It is not connected to the Packet-Radio-S&F-network. 
The maximum storage capacity is 2MB.

The next real BBS to this GateWay is DB0LJ-8, it is connected via 
a 19k2 wire-link. It has an integrated EMail-Gateway and Internet 
access.

First time users at DB0LJ-8 please first enter the commands

NAME  your_name
MYBBS your_home_bbs

Please do not ignore the requests from the bbs, otherwise you
can not enter any other command, this inputs are mandatory.

If you intend to use that BBS more often via low speed links
on HF, it might be usefull to switch the menues to expert level
which makes most of the texts much shorter.

The command for this is SPEAK, shortform SPE.

The syntax for the SPEAK command is

"SPE EX"   for English eXpert
"SPE DLX"  for German eXpert
"SPE NLX"  for NetherLand eXpert

(if anybody has an expert language file for DPBox in french 
 or other languages please send it to me by mail)

SPEAK without any parameter shows all currently available languages.



Notice some special services at DB0LJ-8:

EMail-Gateway:

- The BBS offers an email-gateway to the amprnet with 
  pop3/apop access also from the Internet.
  Sending mails from the internet to db0lj is only possible
  if the sender's address is a valid callsign. 
  Please find more information with the command TCPHELP 
  in the box.

Ham-Pager and APRS:

- at the BBS-Prompt you can send a short message via APRS or HamPager.
  The commands "aprs" and "page" will bring more help on the Syntax.
  You can also connect the paging server DB0LJ-1 to get more functionality.


Downloads:
- This BBS offers a lot of information and in it's fileserver 
  many megabytes of interesting programs and other stuff.

-> BUT PLEASE DO NOT FORGET THAT YOU ARE NOT ALONE ON THE BAND !

Although there is no limitation by the gateway-software, large 
files in the fileserver are ment for highspeed packet access only !
If you ever need to download some smaller things from the fileserver,
you have to read this binary files using 7plus (bbs command "7GET")
and will need a decoding software on your PC.
